Grief Support Groups (Kilmarnock & Heathsville)
Loss From Suicide Grief Support Group (Kilmarnock)
The Grief Support Groups help participants explore their reactions to loss within a trusting and confidential environment. Participants learn about the grieving process and develop strategies for coping to begin to integrate this change in their lives. The groups are facilitated by a licensed professional counselor, clergy member, or trained facilitator.
The Kilmarnock and Heathsville Grief Support groups meet quarterly, and each 10-week series will refer to the book, Understanding Your Grief, Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart.
The Loss From Suicide Grief Support Group meets in Kilmarnock for a 12-week series and will refer to the book, Understanding Your Suicide Grief: Ten Essential Touchtones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart.
The Grief Support Groups are generously supported by a Robert B. Lantz Foundation Grant.

The Bay Center’s Kilmarnock Loss from Suicide Grief Support Group Summer Series will be held every Tuesday, for 12 weeks, from June 7th to August 23rd, from 5pm to 7pm. The Kilmarnock United Methodist Church (89 E Church St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482) has generously offered a place for the Loss from Suicide Grief Support Group to meet.

The Bay Center’s Kilmarnock Grief Support Group Spring Series will be held every Tuesday, for 10 weeks, from April 5th to June 7th, from 1pm to 2pm. The Northern Neck Family YMCA (39 William B Graham Ct, Kilmarnock, VA 22482) has generously offered a place for the Grief Support Group to meet.

The Bay Center’s Heathsville Grief Support Group Spring Series schedule – Wednesday, for 10 weeks, from March 16th to May 18th, from 3pm to 4pm. St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church (6807 Northumberland Hwy, Heathsville, VA 22473) has generously offered a meeting place for the Grief Support Group.
